Home Remodeling & Renovation in Northeast Indiana

Headquartered in Hudson, Indiana, Blitz Properties proudly serves homeowners throughout Northeast Indiana — from lakefront properties to rural homesteads and everything in between. Our roots are in Steuben County, where we work throughout Angola, Fremont, Hamilton, Orland, and the lake communities around Lake James, Clear Lake, and Pleasant Lake.

We also regularly provide home renovation & remodeling services in DeKalb County, including Auburn, Waterloo, Butler, Garrett, and Ashley, as well as LaGrange County communities like Wolcottville, Howe, and LaGrange. Our work extends into Noble County as well, serving Kendallville and Avilla.

Lake homes aren’t like other homes and shouldn’t be remodeled like other homes either.

From humidity and moisture management to maximizing every inch of your view, lake house renovation takes a different kind of expertise. As a lake home contractor with experience on properties throughout Northeast Indiana, we understand what makes these homes special – and what makes them tricky.

Whether you’re updating a cottage on Lake James that’s been in the family for generations, remodeling a home on Clear Lake, or reimagining a property on Pleasant Lake, our approach stays the same: build for the way you actually live there.

I’m Samuel – husband, dad, and the home renovation and remodeling specialist behind Blitz Properties. I grew up in Elkhart County and have lived with my family in Steuben County for nearly a decade.

I started this company because good work and honest relationships shouldn’t be hard to find. Every project – from a lake home renovation to a farmhouse kitchen remodel – gets the same care we’d want for our own home.
